Biography

Thomas Nimmer is the President of Global GMP Consulting, Inc. As an expert in international regulations and standards related to the manufacture of medicinal products, Thomas is passionate about providing strategic quality systems advice to catalyze breakthrough change in client firms' typical obligation-based approach to compliance to that of continuous performance improvement and informed risk management.

Before forming Global GMP, Thomas worked at Amgen for 13 years in a variety of management positions, but mostly developing and delivering corporate training to staff and managers on the topics of compliance and ethics; helping them to understand the philosophy and expectations of the industry's regulatory bodies before developing action plans. Thomas' clients appreciated his ability to rapidly demystify a confusing regulatory environment by shifting their focus from things they perceived they had to do toward things they desired to do, and with his ability to deeply empathize their specific situations, generate workable solutions.

Thomas became an LK Passion Deputy to help expand his scope of helping others seek truth and wisdom beyond guiding understanding in approaching life at work, but more importantly, in their life's work. In his own search for truth and wisdom, he's learned that every time he helps others, his own life's work is deeply enriched many times over, so Thomas eagerly awaits opportunities to help individuals and corporate teams enrich their passion discovery processes.

Thomas is married with two small children, holds an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School, and a BSc from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Thomas speaks several languages, and has lived and worked in Asia, Europe, Australia, and throughout the United States.
