Biography

Lori is General Partner of Venturepreneur Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm located in Atlanta. Prior to co-founding Venturepreneur, she was a vice president at Worldspan a $1B global leader in travel transaction processing. Lori was a co-founder or officer in a number of successful start-up ventures, including Localeyes.com (acquired by AOL), the McLean Group (a private investment bank serving middle market companies), and ImageCafe.com (acquired by Network Solutions/VeriSign). Lori later joined Network Solutions/Verisign as a vice president.

During the 1990s, Lori developed strategic planning and corporate development expertise, first as a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group and later with the Washington Post Company, where she served in several executive positions responsible for finance, corporate development and business development initiatives. She was part of the founding team and served as vice president – Finance and Business Development for WashingtonPost.com. Lori started her career in 1985 with General Electric Corp., where she was involved in financial management for six years.

Lori earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University at the ripe old age of 19 and her MBA from Harvard Business School.
