Deputy Bio: Babak Azad

Biography

Babak Azad has been helping individuals and corporations to reach their potential for the past 10 years, in a variety of capacities. Most recently, he has served as a facilitator for several leadership programs, both for individuals as well as organizations such as LeaderShape and the MIT Sloan School, where he has helped to run a ropes course program. Previously, he worked at the Trium Group, a leadership development consulting firm, where he provided guidance to senior executives and middle managers in organizations striving to improve their overall productivity.

His background in guiding and teaching others is further exemplified by his prior work as an MBA admissions consultant and GMAT preparation instructor. Babak's perspective is the result of years in the business world, having founded TONE Magazine, a free active lifestyle magazine for gyms and yoga studios in Los Angeles. He also spent several years in investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Babak received his B.S. in Mathematics from M.I.T. and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Residing in Los Angeles, Babak is an avid triathlete, training for his 2nd Ironman.
