Biography

Ashley's journey to finding her passions in life has been long and winding, but ultimately well worth it! She began her career as a liberal arts major at Brown University hoping to conquer the world through history and theatre. Upon graduation however, Ashley realized that design was an important interest in her life and she embarked upon a new journey into the engineering sciences with a goal of becoming a product designer. After gaining her master's in mechanical engineering from MIT she worked as a product designer for Lutron Electronics, IDEO and Parametric Technology Corporation. Ashley loved designing but yearned to have an even more positive and direct and impact on people's lives.

In passionate pursuit, Ashley attended business school, enrolling in the Wharton MBA program. Upon graduation, Ashley worked with the Boston Consulting Group where she consulted to a variety of fortune 500 companies in a range of industries. Ashley once again found herself looking inward and through hard introspection it all came together! Her calling is to combine her love for design with her passion for helping people to lead more satisfying and happy lives.

Most recently Ashley has been working with the MBA Student Affairs Office at the MIT Sloan School of Management, designing and implementing academic programs and counseling students.

Ashley has lived in Singapore, Japan, Lebanon, Switzerland, France, the United States and the United Kingdom. She currently lives in Arlington, Massachusetts with her Italian husband and 2–year–old son.
