About Lawler

Living on Boston's North Shore, Lawler has two young hooligans. When not doubling as a human jungle gym, he leads LK Ventures’ activities and serves as a Principal in the boutique executive search firm Libertas Group - "We staff revolutions." He speaks versions of French and Japanese, loves to travel, surf, and ski, and lusts to have time for bridge.

Lawler's mission and passions are helping individuals and organizations live better and more productive lives by constructively rocking the appropriate boats.

This thread of service to others started taking shape during his involvement with the Boy Scouts, where he earned his Eagle Scout rank, and was subseqently tested, and immensurably strengthened, by a cerebral aneurysm at 14 and three major abdominal procedures before turning 21.

Lawler has experientially released his passions in some interesting ways: attending Vassar College and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, living and working in Japan, strategy consulting, start-ups, helping a foreign firm enter the US market, and most recently, leading corporate turnarounds and bio-tech consulting.
